Medical Assistant: Seeking a personable, detailed team player with great people skills in our eye care practice.
Job function and responsibilities:
- Connect with patients to collect medical histories
- Conduct pre-examination testing including auto-refraction, auto-lensometry, non-contact tonometry
- Perform ancillary testing including fundus photography, visual fields
- Accurately enter patient data in medical software
- Assisting optometrist throughout the patient exam
- Maintain cleanliness of pre-test equipment and space
Minimal Qualifications:
- Computer skills
- High school diploma
Seeking candidates interested in long-term employment. Full time position. Experience in optometry, ophthalmology or retail optical environment preferred but will train the candidate with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be available to work on some Saturday mornings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.25 - $15.50 per hour
